These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of thegaragemakeovercompany.com (the "Site") and our text-messaging program, operated by The Garage Makeover Company LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or opting in to our messages, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About us
The Garage Makeover Company designs and installs garage storage, cabinets, shelving, slatwall, overhead storage, garage and basement flooring, and closets for homeowners in the Rochester, New York area and surrounding regions. We are an independent, authorized dealer and installer of Gorgeous Garage products. We are not owned by or acting as an agent of Gorgeous Garage.
2. Using the Site
You must be at least 18 years old to submit information through the Site. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and to give us accurate information. You may not:
- Use the Site in a way that could damage, disable, or overload it
- Try to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to collect content from the Site
- Submit false information or information about another person without their permission
3. Estimates, pricing, and your project
Information on the Site, including product descriptions, photos, 3D designs, project timelines, and any prices, is for general information only and is not an offer to sell. Consultations are free and carry no obligation. Final pricing, scope, schedule, payment terms, cancellation rights, and warranties for any project are set only in the written proposal or contract you sign with us, and that document controls if it differs from anything on the Site.
4. Product information and warranties
Product names, brands, and warranty descriptions on the Site, including references to lifetime or 5-year warranties, are summaries only. Warranty coverage is provided under the specific terms included with your purchase and, where applicable, by the product manufacturer. Colors, finishes, and textures shown on screen may differ from the installed product.

What you'll receive: When you opt in, we will send text messages to the mobile number you provide about your consultation, appointment confirmations and reminders, project updates, invoices and payment reminders, and follow-up check-ins after your project. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, we may also send offers and promotions.
Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your project and preferences.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again. You can also opt out by telling us by phone or email.

No purchase required: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Carriers: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You confirm that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide. If you change or give up that number, let us know so we stop texting it.
6. Email communications
If you give us your email address, we may send you emails about your project and, from time to time, about our services and related services from our affiliated company, Get Organized. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.
7. Content you send us
If you send us photos, reviews, comments, or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it. You give us permission to use photos of your project and reviews you post publicly to show and promote our work, without your name or address unless you agree otherwise. You may ask us to stop using a photo of your home at any time.
8. Reviews and testimonials
Reviews and testimonials on the Site reflect the experiences of individual customers. Results depend on each home and project and are not guaranteed.
9. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, photos, designs, logos, and graphics, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission. Gorgeous Garage and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners.
10. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites, such as review platforms and manufacturers. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices.
11. Disclaimer
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties about the Site, express or implied, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free. This disclaimer does not limit any warranty included in your written contract or required by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed $100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under New York law or changes the terms of a written contract for services.
13. Indemnification
You agree to cover any claims, losses, or costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arise from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Monroe County, New York, unless your written contract with us says otherwise.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
16. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the full agreement between you and us about the Site.
